Unlike the other shows in the series that focus on the procedure of detective work and lawyering, Criminal Intent almost exclusively focuses on the victims, criminals, and the interrogation room. My dad loves this show, but man it got old fast for me. Watching Vincent D’Onofrio contort his face a hundred different ways to elicit confessions made me angry. And, sadly, he was the only entertaining part of the show.
Death By Troggles 
This is the one my wife was obsessed with. I rather like D’Onofrio but he’s not enough to get me interested in a courtroom drama. Nothing is.
