Times Watched: 2

I loved this like crazy when it came out. I saw it again last year and I still really enjoyed it, but it was hard at times to get past how virtually impossible anything in this movie would actually happen. Military protocol is brushed aside (much like in Scott’s other big movie, Top Gun), but more than that character motivations aren’t always believable. The ending is beyond stupid. But man, Hackman and Denzel are fun to watch and I could have this on in the background any day. Major props to the cinematography here.
