I forgot to comment on this last week. Talespin was pretty much my favorite growing up, and this is a great theme. Unlike several old favorites, I can still pull episodes up on YouTube and enjoy them.
It was not one of my favorite shows, though I enjoyed it. I wonder if I’d like it more now.
I would not have recognized the Tale Spin song without the words. It was showing up as I started believing myself too old for animation. Calypso, wooooooooooooooo
Every time I think those horrible openings from the ’80s can’t outdo themselves, they prove me wrong. To watch them, you’d believe every actor was horrible. It’s a decent song, though I’d love to hear it with updated instrumentation (although…would it lose its charm?).
