Chip Caray is a terrible play-by-play guy, as evidenced by his call in the bottom of the 10th of this game:

Line drive. Base hit. Caught out there. The runner tags. Throw to the plate. On target. And in time! A double play.

 

But he was on for this crucial moment in the top of the 9th, when Joe Nathan was struggling and Magglio Ordonez was at the plate. He got a lucky break when Magglio lined out right to Cabrera, and Curtis Granderson was for some reason really far off the bag.
