So in looking at the Wikipedia page prior to writing this, it appears it has been hacked. Unfortunately, the headers for every  section include a Mexican derogatory slang term for black people. Sigh.

I love Will Smith. He’s not the best actor in the world, but gosh darn it the camera loves him. Even early in the career he could switch between yukking it up and drawing out the waterworks. As for the show itself, it’s pretty much your standard safe situational comedy, with Will constantly screwing up and learning a lesson by episode’s end. Sometimes his rich family would be the screw-ups and would have to tone down their high-class snobbery. Either way, the jokes are often too easy, and the drama is often too heavy-handed. But it’s earnest.
