Review: Very similar to Eye of the Beholder in style, which left me annoyed throughout most of the episode.

Visiting Trill was nice, but the politics surrounding the big reveal (that more people can be joined than is advertised) ring false to me. Societies exclude groups of people from nice things all the time without riots. And the mystery winds up just being a lot of convoluted speeches that I don’t care about. Farrell is good at usual at maneuvering Dax through this conflict; it’s too bad she wasn’t given more to do here.
