9. Trial For Data’s Life
Episode: The Measure of a Man (2.09)
Even more contrived and ridiculous than the courtroom scene in The Drumhead, but Picard’s passionate closing arguments still carry a ton of weight.
Death By Troggles 
Data’s trial is indeed far-fetched, but I do like the writer’s delving into what it means to be “alive,” and how we will deal with AI in the future.
