Best Moments of TNG: 38, 37

38. Broken Record

Episode: We’ll Always Have Paris (1×24)

In between Picard reminiscing about the broken hearts he left behind, a broken time continuum keeps popping up. This episode shows several time glitches and this one’s my favorite:

37. Kevin Uxbridge’s Confession

Episode: The Survivors (3×03)

The Enterprise finds a barren planet with only two Survivors in a home on an acre of grass. They’re bullshit detectors at red alert, they soon learn that neither of them are human; one’s essentially a great hologram, the other an alien life form. After not falling for the alien’s scare tactics and exposing his wife as totally not real, he breaks down and admits everything. Great performance by John Anderson.
