I really didn’t like The Chicks when they first came out so I didn’t give them much of a chance for a while. Turns out I just felt their three weakest singles were their first three. And then when they consciously torpedoed their chart success to protest a war monger I liked them even more. And then when they shed “Dixie” from their name I liked them even more.
